Our in-store approach was to immerse the guest in a real-world digital menu board takeover where falling nacho fries were impossible to ignore.
Taking over a series of menu boards was no easy task. Restrictions included file size, the timing of multiple screens, rendering capabilities, and smooth motion all came into play. An additional concern was that not many people find 3-D imagery appetizing, so the struggle was real when we needed to find a way to incorporate actual food photography into the takeover. We achieved a balance with a combination of static images and programming combined with seamless LTO motion graphics while working around the existing digital menu board limitations.
